THE LAYLOW DEBUTS IN WAIKIKI FOLLOWING $60 MILLION TRANSFORMATION – Meetings And Conventions

The 251-room Laylow, Autograph Collection — formerly the Aqua Wave Waikiki — has been unveiled following a $60 million overhaul. The “Hawaii Modern-style” property, which was built in 1967, is the first Oahu hotel to join Marriott’s Autograph Collection. The property is on Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki, an area undergoing a renaissance of sorts with the opening of new restaurants, hotels and shops, and within walking distance of Waikiki Beach, the 75-shop International Market Place, Kapiolani Park and the Waikiki Shell.
